The Saldo is inspired by the Pacific environment, it's cultures and people. It is a suite of nine pieces reflecting on one of the most beautiful and culturally rich regions on earth. It features Australasian flute, mouthbows and vocals by Colin and Aboriginal songman Matthew Doyle's powerful singing and didgeridu playing, a stunning rhythm section in Jamie Pattugalan, Naomi Vaughan and Calvin Welch.
