Nikki Doll & The Penny Drops is a collaboration between chanteuse extraordinaire Nikki Doll and songwriter Chris Stafford who, as members of Sydney band Jive Bombers, enjoyed great success with their APRA Award winning song Jungle Jive. Now they reunite for their own album, Nothing Rhymes With Orange: 10 originals and 3 covers that span the whole range of pop music, from Latin and swing to old-school RnB, reflecting Nikki’s astounding versatility both as a vocalist and an actress who inhabits a new persona for every song.

This is original Australian music with a world of influences. It’s been a long labour of love but the penny has finally dropped.
