Residual Current Device is the latest original release by Michael Wheatley. The EP is a neat little package of six songs spanning a wide variety of genres but laced with Michael’s trademark funk and love of groove-based music. The EP was the result of having some unfinished tracks left over from Michael’s last full album Universal Joint and deciding to divert his extra creative juice toward them. From falsetto powered disco rock anthems like 'You Got Em' to deep underwater dub like 'Waitin On A Wave' the result is vibrant, catchy, coloured with mood and lit with lyrical inspirations.
