Wild West Coast Hipsters, The Vibrolators, third recording “Frangipani” was released in 2011. The Vibrolators - fresh original tunes, supersonic swing, jumpin' jive and rockin' rhythms of the 40's and 50's. This time the 5 piece band conspires with blues diva Miss Peta Lee and Alison Penney (vocals, organ, piano and accordion). Miss Lee scorches in the vintage vibe and sparks fly when Ali kicks off with the Vibros chasing her tail!

Frangipani also takes more twists and turns - A few tunes each by Almore James, Drake Denyer and Hank Deberitz, pulsed along by the dream team of Yugon Chobanoff and GBN Bushby. The album was recorded at the legendary Poons Head Studios in Fremantle, Western Australia and co-produced by the eccentric master of sound, Robbie Grant. The breaks between tracking and mixing were spent on the front porch in the shade of a big old Frangipani tree.
