Fronz Arp: What Strange Machines | ![]() |
On 'What Strange Machines', released in early 2011, I wanted to explore the fringes of the dynamic, theatrical and often-abrasive writing style I've developed. Also, the album was completely self-produced, recorded and mixed in the houses and bedrooms I had lived in (sorry for the noise, house-mates). It was a real journey of discovery for me, with the intention of pushing boundaries from start to end. What Strange Machines
seems to be shocking and entertaining folk all over the place (which entertains me). Fronz Arp 2011

Jeff Duff: Fragile Spaceman | ![]() |
Direct from Jeff's furtive imagination comes this beautiful collection of new duffsongs, fuelled by whimsy and haunting images. Fragile Spaceman, his twenty fifth album, continues Duffo's uniquely perceptive view on life. It is 'the world according to Duffo' with a subliminal nod to Bowie thrown in for good measure. This album, in the making for over three years, has been a genuine labour of love for Jeff and producer Paul Searles, formerly from Skunkhour. The combination of these two highly inventive musicians has produced a truly remarkable recording. |

David Harrod: Palisade | ![]() |
This is my first recording & new songs since 1990 (yep last century). 26 years ago I locked my gear in the shed with no plans to ever involve myself in music again. My family had decided I was going beyond crazy and bought me a new guitar... so you can blame them or thank them for this EP. |

Ina Maka: Praying On Satellites | ![]() |
Ina Maka's Debut Album 'Praying On Satellites' will take you on a journey! Songs crafted in the realm of Psychedelic Soul. Mellow at times, heavy at times, maintaining a constant groove with beautiful vocal melodies and psych guitars. Leaning more towards a Pink Floyd approach to production, keeping things as analog as possible and focusing more on performance rather than using modern editing techniques! |
