Australian guitarist, Mark Mittag, recorded his debut album, The Interview, in New York with acclaimed drummer Mike Clark (Herbie Hancock and the Head Hunters etc), Charles Fambrough (Art Blakey, McCoy Tyner etc) and Eric Udel (The Blues Brothers, Ray Charles etc) alternate on bass. Marc was the guitarist for indie bands Skinful and Standing on Shoulders. This album is raw, exciting and intense - the beginning of a great new sound. This is funky attitude, storytelling and lyrical improvising.
