This live recording commemorates a ten year Sunday summer residency at the Narrabeen Sands Hotel. Perhaps one of the longest residencies by a band in Sydney, Australia. The 13 originals and two covers were recorded live as the band played on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The original Sands Hotel, a music venue with a proud history, was demolished a few months after. We dedicate this album to all our fans and supporters.
Errol H. Renaud was born in the Caribbean twin island state of Trinidad and Tobago. He started as an entertainer with the Ujamaa performing company and the culture of the Caribbean became a way of life. He has been to over twenty countries spreading the message of Soca, Reggae, Calypso, the Steelpan, limbo and other music and dance from his birth place. He toured with the famous Trinidad Cavaliers for three years, and has formed his own bands called TNT Heatwave, Creole, T-Vibes, Caribbean Soul and was an original member of the first authentic reggae band formed in Australia - Un-Tabu.
