The Martinez Electic Band is a truly unique tour de force of musical genius spanning 2 generations rarely seen in the modern music industry of this era: not only do they share a bond of skillful mastery with their instruments - they are also a rock-solid family unit that live, eat and breathe music together. Riding on the success of the Chilean-born Martinez Trio (Father, Victor Martinez and eldest sons, Andro and Dauno), the Martinez Electric Band was formed to include younger brothers Fenix and Banel, creating a fusion of modern jazz. To complete the departure from the traditional stylings of the Martinez Trio, additional 'sons' Darryl Beaton & Kevin Mendoza were adopted into the family, further pushing the musical boundaries of the Martinez Electric Band into the unknown. The eclectic mix is remarkable to say the least; Victor Martinez on classical guitar, Andro Martinez on electric and acoustic guitar, Dauno Martinez on bass and vocals, Fenix Martinez on keyboards and synthesizers, Banel Martinez on Jazz guitar, Darryl Beaton on keyboards & synthesizers, and Kevin Mendoza on drums and percussion.
