This album would have to be described as a definitive point in our career. After 27 years as a band when this album was recorded, we really were "Shedding Our Skin" and finding our place in the modern music landscape. This collection of work has been met with widespread acceptance (relief almost) from our faithful followers and friends. It dominated the 2011 Golden Fiddle Awards Finalists nominations in 3 categories - Best Band; Best CD & Best Original Composition with the band taking home the top award of Lifetime Achievement and contribution to the industry.

The masterful skill of fellow instrumentalist and producer Michael Fix, shines through and we're collectively really proud of this album. In various combinations we've all written or contributed to nine of the eleven tracks and we've presented fresh arrangements to a couple of much loved heritage pieces. A beautiful ballad from Graeme Connors and Mike Kerin is also included, which we've performed for many years. We truly hope you enjoy this album as much as we do. Thank you. - The Leaping Lizards
