Joe West is a singer/songwriter with a voice that permeates the soul. West’s effortless guitar style spans southern rock and the blues to old and alternative country, whilst incorporating a contemporary edginess all his own. This is accompanied by one of the most naturally soulful voices to emerge in recent years.

He has taken the road less travelled on his way to developing his self-titled solo project. After growing up in northern NSW, West relocated to Sydney a few years ago. Whilst working as a session musician both live and in the studio since then (a talent which has taken him to Europe and the USA), he has written numerous songs, some of which ended up on his debut EP 'Home Again', released in 2010. In 2011 he travelled to Portland, Oregon, where he cut his first LP 'Scintilla'.
