Abuka released their album 'One Take' in 2011. Abuka is Brazilian guitarist, singer and composer Tiago De Lucca; pianist, piano accordionist and composer Marcello Maio and multi-percussionist Sandro Bueno. All songs were recorded in one take, performed live - with the exception of percussion overdubs and vocals on 'Temptation'. Take a liberal serving of Brazilian infused grooves and rhythms, think bossa nova, samba, maracatu, baiao, a good helping of jazz and a handful of funk, and mix them all together to create a sophisticated, fun and fantastic sound that transports you a world away.
