Then and Now is the second album released by Blues-Folk singer/songwriter/guitarist Phil Edgeley. A crew of top-flight musicians ably abets Phil: Mick King (guitar), Christian Marsh (Blues & chromatic harmonica), Murray Campbell (djembe, Moroccan talking drum and percussion) and Paul Rutter again steps up on both fretted and fretless bass guitar duties. Producer Roni Francois adds his multi-instrumentalist talents to the mix via drums, bass guitar, piano and percussion to add textured and refined backdrops to the songs. Recorded in 2007 at Point Studios on the Central Coast of Australia.
'Then And Now is a gem that belongs in all blues lovers' collection of music!...oozing with honesty, integrity and authentic Blues sounds!' Henry Correy, US Blues Hall Of Fame Inductee, 2007.
