Chris Gudu is a significant part of the African music journey in Australia. This inspiring and dynamic album stays true to his Zimbabwean roots and was released in 2011, three years after the release of his first solo hit album. Imnandi contains the rhythmical spirit of Zimbabwe. The album was recorded in Sydney, Australia and produced by Chris Gudu band lead guitarist, Michael Coggins.

Chris Gudu describes the album as carrying a real message both lyrically and musically. The first tune 'Mhuri Ye Zimbabwe' is a powerful song which he wrote in acknowledging the beauty of his homeland and its hardworking people. Other songs in the album celebrate life, spirituality, humanity and harmony.
