Sally Street released her pop-rock album 'The Scorpion Maid' in 2010. The album showcases 12 of her original catchy pop-rock songs with wicked lyrics recorded with an all-star band and mixed by Grammy Award winning engineer, Helik Hadar, in LA.
Sally co-produced and co-wrote 'The Scorpion Maid' with her pianist Gerard Masters. This is her genre-crossing third studio album after releasing two Jazz albums. 'Facebook Freak' was selected as a Finalist in the 12th Annual Great American Song Contest for 2010. 5 of the tracks on 'The Scorpion Maid' were also shortlisted in the Australian Songwriting Competition. The 3 Sally Street albums released so far have become darlings of community radio in Australia, the U.S. and France.
The Scorpion Maid features the talents of Gerard Masters (piano and backing vocals), James Muller (guitar), Phil Stack (bass), Ian Mussington (drums), Ian Cooper (violin), Adrian Cunningham and Andy Bickers (sax) and Dan Barnett (trombone).
