Show Me The Way To Your Heart was released in 2000 and is the debut album from Sydney-based singer-songwriter and musician, Lucinda Peters. Born into a musical family, surrounded by the sounds of violin, cello, harp, piano and recorders, Lucinda began piano lessons at five and at six began studying classical guitar. Later, she went on to further her studies in classical guitar and jazz voice at the University of South Australia in her home town of Adelaide. After some travelling she relocated to Sydney where she began circulating in Sydney’s Jazz scene, taking up the double bass to accompany her vocals. She was soon spotted by Australian Jazz legend, Don Borrows who co-produced her debut album, Show Me The Way To Your Heart. Academy Award winning film maker, Jane Campion featured the title track in her 2003 film, In The Cut. To Promote the release of Show Me The Way To Your Heart, Lucinda played at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as well as Paris and NY.
